RESONANCE

THE NORTH CAROLINA YOUTH TAP ENSEMBLE

presents

with special guest STAR DIXON

An exploration of sound, movement, and legacy.

One night only!
Saturday, April 25th
7:30 pm
Carolina Theater, Durham, NC.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Produced by our Senior members and Artistic director, this performance is guided by the idea that every note has a unique shape and purpose. Resonance goes beyond the initial sound into the vibrations, echoes, and lasting impressions that persist after the sound fades. Through a curated selection of NCYTE’s expansive repertory and the debut of new works, the dancers honor the lineage of those who came before them and pave the way for those who will follow. We are honored to be joined by Star Dixon (of M.A.D.D. Rhythms in Chicago. IL) who spent time with the company to create a new work for the show.

Resonance begins with us and ends with us, asking not what disappears, but what remains.
